This device employs high-intensity, narrow-band blue light (465–470 nm) as a deterrent source. A precision optical system focuses the light into an extremely narrow beam with a beam angle of ≤5°, enabling illumination over ultra-long distances (>1,000 m). Avian visual systems are highly sensitive to this wavelength band, achieving peak sensitivity at this spectral range and transmitting visual signals exceeding the threshold to the brain. The light stimulus induces instinctive avoidance behavior in birds, particularly larger species. This light source effectively deters and repels avian wildlife, compelling them to leave the airport’s protected airspace and thereby minimizing bird strike incidents to the greatest extent possible.

The system consists of four main components: an optical wave transmission unit, a high-precision pan-tilt unit, an intelligent control module, and a display and operation interface. It offers both fixed and mobile deployment options.
