The shockwave cannon is a bird-deterrent device that generates high-intensity shock waves and acoustic pressure through the deflagration of fuel gases. It precisely controls the mixing of a measured quantity of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) or ethylene with air in a premix chamber via finely tuned solenoid and throttling valves, while an electronic igniter—triggered by a time relay—adjusts the frequency of combustion and explosion. The resulting high-pressure gas, as it passes through a specially designed muzzle with a turbulent flow structure comprising guide vanes and a branched configuration, forms a nonlinear shock airflow that produces intense shock waves and a powerful acoustic signal, effectively repelling birds.

The system comprises six core subsystems: the gun barrel, gas mixing and intake system, ignition system, power supply system, high-precision pan-and-tilt system, and intelligent control system. It is available in both stationary and vehicle-mounted mobile configurations.
